Year in the image[]
User:Ironyak1, I saw the full res image (added it to the to the infobox) and from what I can see it reads 1834 you can even compare the 3 with that of 2003 written next to it. Can't see 5 in there File:CauldronCakesBoxFront.jpg, clearly makes two curves in the numeral.
I think we should get a second opinion from other editors on this. Fyuyjh (talk) 23:54, November 16, 2018 (UTC)
- It seems pretty clear that the first date is 1854 and the second is 2003 - the 5 and 3 are very distinct IMHO. Cheers --Ironyak1 (talk) 00:04, November 17, 2018 (UTC)
- I really don't see a '5' it is curving above in the shape of 3. We should definitely get other editors' opinion on this (maybe post this in the community/discussion chat?). Fyuyjh (talk) 07:44, November 17, 2018 (UTC)
- User:Seth Cooper, User:Cubs Fan2007 What do you think, is it a '5' or '3'? Fyuyjh (talk) 07:53, November 17, 2018 (UTC)
Hogwarts Legacy[]
Okay I looked around inside Honeydukes in Hogwarts Legacy and not only can you see a poster for Cauldron Cakes on the wall right near the front counter, it has a witch levitating one out of a cauldron with her wand...but if you turn to the counter you can actually eat one as a free sample, just like the Fizzing Whizzbees, Pepper Imps, and Elephant on a Bicycle...unlike them though it has no other effect than your character picking one up and eating it..haven't been injured around Honeydukes to go in and try it so I don't know if it will heal but someone with some screen cap stuff can get the pictures for them to add to the gallery...it looks like they have a blueberry or similar wizarding version of them on top of the cake. They seem to come in different sizes as well as there are smaller ones sitting right in front of stacks of them that come as 3 large Cauldron Cakes...actual CAKE sized Cauldron Cakes at that, wrapped with a bow. So that would fit with the version described in the book where they buy stacks of them (likely the small ones) and Ron crushes one in his hand when angry at Draco..much more fitting than the version that has an inedible cauldron but that's just me, I prefer things to be as accurate to the book as possible.Kyuu19 (talk) 21:14, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
