Head Goblin and Death
Edit
How do we know exactly that Bogrod was the Head Goblin? In the book, Bogrod is just a bank employee, while in the film there's a goblin (in the Head Goblin's seat), who calls for Bogrod to check Lestrange's identification and to lead her to her vault. Also, why would his death be non-canon? The last mention of him in the book is that Ron and Hermione struggled to keep Bogrod from slipping beneath the rising tide of gold; it is never said he got away safely. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 16:49, July 20, 2011 (UTC)
I'd have to agree with Seth. Also, I'd like to point out something: Bogrod died in the movie, it is never specified in the book, and yet on his page and says he died, having a reference to the sixteenth chapter of Deathly Hallows. Chapter 16 was not named Gringotts, it was named Godric's Hollow. There should be a reference to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, if we're going to use Bogrod's death as canon. - Bogrod's death is NOT canon. The films are NOT canon. His death should only be noted in the "Behind the Scenes" section or something. This Wiki should be a source of information for the BOOKS, with side notes on the movies.

- Read the canon policy. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 00:24, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
