Just wondered, what's the source for Rita Skeeter's Patonus being a beetle? --Hunnie Bunn (Owl me!) 01:48, February 16, 2013 (UTC)

According to Rita Skeeter's own page, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. ProfessorTofty (talk) 01:49, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
But that page never specifically states her patronus was a beetle, just that she could conjure one. Does the game ever show her patronus to be a beetle, or is the wiki-page the only source? --Hunnie Bunn (Owl me!) 01:52, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
It says "beetle" in her infobox, though the source reference isn't attached to it. However, my understanding is that there's never been an instance of a character's patronus not matching their animagus form. ProfessorTofty (talk) 01:54, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
It may be that someone thought that Patronus and Animagus forms are always identical. But this was never stated. If I´m rght, all Patronuses are uncorporeal in the game except in cutscenes. So the only source I know shows Rita with an uncorporeal Patronus.--Rodolphus (talk) 10:27, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
Unless someone can positively verify it, then it should be removed. - Nick O'Demus 12:47, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
Well, I don't have any way of verifying it at the moment, so I'll just go ahead and remove all references to a corporeal patronus and Rita Skeeter. ProfessorTofty (talk) 16:30, February 18, 2013 (UTC)
