The issue has come up whether this room is canon or not. According to HPW:CANON, the books and movies are higher canon than the games. Since we only see floating jelly beans in the games, they do not exist in the Harry Potter universe except as a normal sweets. Since this room's entire existence circles around these non-existent Beans, I think it is non-canon. 22:24, January 4, 2012 (UTC)

Well, I believe the rule is that just because we don't see it in the books or movies doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. It's only if it would specifically conflict with existing canon. Besides, unless I'm mistaken, I don't believe that there's anything that would necessarily suggest that the floating aspect is necessarily a natural part of the beans and other items within the room - perhaps there's simply a charm on the beans or the room that allows them to float? Or, y'know, it's a game and we can assume the beans are actually just sitting there on the ground or in packages, and the game is simplifying that for gameplay reasons. -- 1337star (Owl Post) 22:52, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
Perhaps we could think of the collected beans as forms of Chocolate Frog Cards, which students use to trade. 23:05, January 4, 2012 (UTC)

Could someone please verify if this is Ground Floor or First Floor

the page references both....................Thank you 01:34, April 1, 2012 (UTC)

It changes locations between school years according to the games which is where the floor confusion comes in, but both times it's on the Ground Floor. GhostUser 02:48, April 1, 2012 (UTC)
