May it be worth mentioning in BTS that in the German translation, the Charms lesson is callled "Zauberkunst" which would be "Charms art? --Rodolphus 13:45, January 9, 2011 (UTC)

Pottermire gives a full list of the Hogwarts subjects, and Art is not on it. The only possibility left is that Art, Muggle Art, Music, Muggle Music, Ghoul Studies, Advanced Arithmancy and Earth Magic are several of those NEWT subjects. ( specialised Arithmany, Charms, Muggle Studies, Care of Magical creatures, and Herbology, I´d say)--Rodolphus 10:51, August 17, 2011 (UTC)

If they're not on the list then, in my opinion, they don't exist. Jayden Matthews 10:54, August 17, 2011 (UTC)

The list lists all first year subjects, all third year subjects, but only gives one example of NEWT subjects. There were definately more.--Rodolphus 10:59, August 17, 2011 (UTC)

Which NEWT subjects are given? And does it say that they are just examples? Jayden Matthews 12:21, August 17, 2011 (UTC)
The list does not list extra-curricular classes like Apparition. As such, it may be that Art, Ghoul Studies, Music, and the lot are simply extracurricular-classes and not mentioned. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 12:22, August 17, 2011 (UTC)
Jayden, you can find a transcript here. The only NEWT-specific class mentioned to exist is Alchemy, although it is clear that there are more. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 12:23, August 17, 2011 (UTC)
