Death of Senator Shaw

How are we sure that he was attacked and died on December 6? I could find that date in the screen play. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by POtter-AAng-ERagon (talkcontribs) 21:45, December 6, 2016‎.

The issue of The New York Ghost that someone is shown holding in the scene where Newt goes to the MACUSA headquarters with Tina on his first day in New York is dated December 6, 1926. Senator Show dies on the night of the first day of the film's timeframe. Thus, we can conclude Senator Shaw died on December 6 1926 (ninety years ago today by coincidence). There's also an issue of The New York Ghost dated 7 December with the details of Shaw's death the night before (see this image, taken from The Case of Beasts: Explore the Film Wizardry of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), and a No-Maj "Wanted" poster for the "robbery" of Steen National Bank (which took place the morning before Shaw was attacked) that says it took place on 6 December (see this image, taken from the propmakers' official site). --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 00:48, December 7, 2016 (UTC)
