Do we have any canon evidence that Molly and Arthur were born in 1949-50?--Rodolphus (talk) 15:24, May 10, 2016 (UTC)

Most likely not. Loads of information seems to have been added here without anyone caring to verify the added information, just assuming the information was true. --Sajuuk 15:26, May 10, 2016 (UTC)
Most of the date pages require reading the underlying articles for all the refs. Molly and Arthur's birth dates are done by calculation given Bill's birth day and the statement that they rushed to marriage after leaving school (see Talk:Molly_Weasley#1949.3F). That said (and noted before), the birth dates should probably be "c. 1949 or 1950" as they are not known specific years and then the birth event listed on both 1949 and 1950 --Ironyak1 (talk) 15:53, May 10, 2016 (UTC)

But we can´t be sure Mrs Weasley got pregnant right after mariage.--Rodolphus (talk) 17:58, May 10, 2016 (UTC)

OK, did the deep dive on what is known - see the new ref for Molly Weasley's birth year. While there may be more time between her marriage and birth, it is said that they eloped shortly after graduation, which would have to be in 1968 (Arthur's known graduation date) or 1969 at the latest. The other option is that Molly graduated 1967 or earlier and waited for Arthur, but it seems the least likely of options given the idea that everyone was rushing into marriage due to the rise of Voldemort. Thoughts? --Ironyak1 (talk) 19:25, May 10, 2016 (UTC)
