Switzerland was a landlocked country in Central Europe.[1] It was bordered by Germany to the north, Austria and Liechtenstein to the east, Italy to the south, and France to the west.[1]

The watchmaking firm J. B. Yabsley had offices in both London and Switzerland.[2] Cornelius Fudge owned a pocket watch made by this company.[2]

Heinrich Eberstadt was the Swiss delegate to the International Confederation of Wizards in 1926.[3]
