In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (film), this railway station is where Harry Potter reads the Daily Prophet issue after Death Eaters attack at the Millennium Bridge in July, 1996. Harry encountered a muggle waitress that questioned him about the Daily Prophet and him being one of the headlines. The lady also flirts with Harry.
Also, the station is where Professor Dumbledore makes an appearance to get Harry and bring him back to the Wizarding World.
