Stinkitus is a magical disease provoked by breathing the noxious green gas left when one explodes a Stink Pellet. On April 1st, 1979, approximately five-hundred cases of Stinkitus were reported throughout London. This happened because 42-year old Caractacus Phelps dropped no less than eight hundred Stink Pellets from the roof of the Daily Prophet building in Diagon Alley
