The Stickfast Hex (Colloshoo[1]) was a hex that was used to make the target's shoes stick to the ground.[2]
Etymology
Like Colloportus, Colloshoo is comprised of the prefix "collo-" deriving from Latin colligo meaning "to bind together" or possibly Greek κολλάω, κολλώ (collo) which means "to glue, stick". The suffix "shoo" is a misspelling of the English noun "shoe".
Appearances
- Harry Potter Trading Card Game (as Colloshoo)
- Pottermore
