Stephen Fry (born 24 August, 1957 in Hampstead, London) is an actor from the United Kingdom who narrates the UK editions of the Harry Potter audio books and also narrated three installments of the Harry Potter video games: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.[1]

During his early career in comedy, he teamed with comic Hugh Laurie, who is currently most famous for his role as Gregory House on the FOX drama "House". He also made occasional appearances on the British version of the improvisation show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and is the host for the comedy quiz show QI, which recently featured Daniel Radcliffe as a panelist on a magic-themed episode, culminating in Radcliffe seemingly being beheaded by TV presenter Graham Norton.
