St. Mary's Church Hall was a church hall located somewhere in Britain.[1]
History[]
Emanuel Hurwitz and his wife Kay, a violinist and violist respectively, gave a performance of Mozart's Sinfonia Concertanti here on 7 May sometime prior to 1997. Hermione Granger had a poster for this concert stuck to a bulletin board in her bedroom in her family's house.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- The prop that refers to St. Mary's Church Hall employs a full stop after "St". This is not in accordance with the British standard for abbreviation (see, for example, Oxford style guide).
- It is unknown whether this church corresponds to a real-world one, as there are a number of churches of this name in England.
