A basket of squashes and tomatoes

A squash is a fruit produced by plants in the genus Cucurbita. They are eaten as a vegetable and come in many varieties, including acorn squash, butternut squash, and zucchini.[1]

Rosie's Garden Seed Co., a packaged seed company based in the United Kingdom, sold packets of squash seeds.[2] The back of the packet gave detailed instructions for planting and growing.[2] Frank Bryce, the groundskeeper of the Riddle House, had a packet of squash seeds from Rosie's Garden Seed Co. in his stocks in 1994.[2]
