Sophie[4] Roper was a student who began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1991. She was sorted into the Gryffindor house.
Behind the scenes
- J. K. Rowling stated several times there were two "missing Gryffindor girls" in Harry's year and she promised would have posted their names[5][6][7], but never did this. Looking very carefully at the notebook shown in "Harry Potter and Me", it can be deduced the two girls were Sophie Roper and Sally Smith.
- She shared a dormitory with Hermione Granger, Parvati Patil, Lavender Brown and Sally Smith.
