This unidentified charm (incantation unknown) is a Weather-Modifying Charm that creates snow. This spell was used unintentionally by Ronald Weasley in 1996 . He used it whilst practising the spell to turn vinegar into wine, due to his being distracted by talking to Harry Potter.[1]
Behind the scenes
- In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Ron Weasley uses this spell unintentionally; however, this event happens in the Great Hall and while Ron is getting better after being poisoned and keeping an eye on the sad Lavender Brown.
