This unidentified charm (incantation unknown) is a Weather-Modifying Charm that creates snow, which was used unintentionally by Ronald Weasley in 1996 whilst practising the spell to turn vinegar into wine, due to his being distracted by his talking to Harry.
Behind the scenes
- In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Ron Weasley uses this spell unintentionally; however, this event happens in the Great Hall and while Ron is getting better after being poisoned and keeping an eye on the sad Lavender Brown.
