The Smokescreen Spell[2] (Fumos[1]) was a spell used to create a defensive cloud of smoke from the tip of the wand[2].

It was covered in the book The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection by Professor Quentin Trimble[2].

The spell is quite useful in dueling, as when cast the opponent is likely to fail to aim their spells accurately.
