- "Raising her wand, she sends a fiery bolt towards the grand window opposite. As it explodes, a blast of cold air sweeps the room, extinguishing the candles."
- — Description[src]
This spell releases a burst of blue light, which causes a huge explosion that ravages and literally devastates everything at its range. Additionally, it was used to smash windows.
Known uses
- Bellatrix Lestrange used the spell to shatter the windows in the Great Hall in her insane celebratory outburst after the death of Albus Dumbledore in 1997.
Behind the scenes
- This spell may be the Reductor Curse, as they have identical effects.
- It may be related to, or the same spell as, the one Voldemort used a year later to begin the Battle of Hogwarts.
