Mrs Skower was most likely the witch who gave her name to Mrs Skower's All-Purpose Magical Mess Remover.[1] It is unknown whether she was the product's inventor or simply its manufacturer.

"Skower" is an obsolete form of the verb scour, meaning "to clean, polish, or wash something by scrubbing it vigorously."[2][3]
