This letter was written by Sirius Black to his godson, Harry Potter, on 7 October,[1] 1995. The letter simply said "Today, same time, same place." It was written so vaguely so if it was intercepted, none would know what the letter was talking about. However, the letter was intercepted by Dolores Umbridge, who wounded Harry Potter's owl, Hedwig, in order to get it. Although it was vague, Umbridge was able to figure out that Sirius meant to floo the Gryffindor common room that night to speak to his godson.
