- — Description[src]
Seaweed is a general term used to describe various types of multicelluar algae that resemble weeds.[3] Seaweed grew on the rocks surrounding Hut-on-the-Rock, and the smell of it was so strong it pervaded the hut itself.[1] The ocean outside The Cave where Lord Voldemort hid Slytherin's Locket also smelt of seaweed.[4]
