Sean Biggerstaff (born March 15, 1983) portrayed Gryffindor Quidditch team Captain Oliver Wood in the film adaptions of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Early Life
Biggerstaff was born in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1996 at the age of 13, he landed his first major role in The Crow Road. He is best known for his role in the first two Harry Potter movies.
Success
Biggerstaff was nominated and won Best Actor- Television in the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in Scotland (BAFTA Scotland) on November 18, 2007 for his role in the BBC4 TV Movie Consenting Adults.
