Sea Lavender is a plant native to coastal areas in England and Wales. The plant grows near Shell Cottage in Tinworth. It is a grey-green plant.
Etymology
The name comes from its similarity in appearance to Lavender, though the plants are not related.
Uses
When Dobby the House-elf died in 1998 at Shell Cottage, Luna Lovegood used some Sea Lavender to decorate his grave.
