Scarpin's Revelaspell (incantation unknown) is a charm that is used to correctly identify the ingredients of a given potion[1]. Professor Horace Slughorn instructed his sixth year potions class to use this spell, although most of them were absolutely clueless[1]. The only one who truly knew what to do was Hermione Granger, who was casting the spell nonverbally[1].
