Sardinia is a large island off the west coast of Italy in the Mediterranean Sea.[1] A sub-committee of sorcerers from this island did something of note in September of 1289. Professor Binns attempted to give more detail on the matter during a lecture on the International Warlock Convention of 1289 to second-year History of Magic students in 1992, but, before he could finish, he was interrupted by a question from Hermione Granger.[2]
