The Salem Witches Institute is a magical institute, located in America, mentioned at the 1994 Quidditch World Cup. Some of the Institute's members were gossiping happily in between two tents labelled "THE SALEM WITCHES' INSTITUTE". They watched the 1994 Quidditch World Cup.

- It possibly serves as the Wizarding equivalent of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
- It is also possibly an allusion to the British Women's Institutes.

The name is derived from Salem, Massachussetts [1], where the Salem witch trials took place and twenty-nine people were convicted with the felony of witchcraft.
