Runcorn is the surname of a wizarding family that lived in Great Britain. It is unknown whether they are Pure-blood or have some Muggle heritage as well.

Known MembersEdit

Albert Runcorn likely attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and achieved high N.E.W.T. results. He was a Ministry of Magic employee during the administration of Pius Thicknesse. His chief function was intimidator and blackmailer of alleged Muggle-borns, and he uncovered Dirk Cresswell's falsified family tree while in this capacity. In 1997, he unknowingly ate a Nosebleed Nougat from Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes and had to take time off from work. ^[1]
