Rum is a type of alcoholic beverage.
There is a spell that can allegedly turn water into rum, though Seamus Finnigan, the only known user, was only able to manage a "weak tea" when he attempted to use it in 1991.
Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge enjoyed some red currant rum while at the Three Broomsticks Inn in 1993.[1]
The treatment for Squabbs Syndrome includes keeping the dragon warm and feeding plenty of chilli, pepper and a crate of rum four times a day.
