This letter was written by Rubeus Hagrid to Hermione Granger on 12 February,[1] 1994. The letter told Hermione the outcome of Buckbeak's trial before the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures in London, and it was covered in Hagrid's tears.[2]

Behind the scenesEdit
Added by Seth Cooper- In the GBA version of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, this letter arrives the morning after Sirius Black broke into Hogwarts and Gryffindor Tower, and it is addressed directly to Harry. It is also slightly condensed, reading instead:
