Rubens Winikus was presumably the founder of Rubens Winikus and Company Inc., a corporation which manufactured and sold potions, including Skele-Gro, of which they were the sole producer.[1]
Behind the scenes
- This character is mentioned only on the label of a bottle featured in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. His name is presumably a tribute to Ruth Winick, who worked as a graphic artist on Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets, and as a draughtsman on Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire.[2]
