This was a spell used to propel the Hogwarts boats to the castle's Boathouse, which is located off the Black Lake. It may also have been the spell that Rubeus Hagrid used to propel the rowboat that he used to take Harry from the Hut-on-the-Rock back to the mainland in 1991.
