The Room of Doom is a circle-shaped room inside Hogwarts Castle, adjacent to the Prowling Passage. Harry Potter walked by it in his third year when he saw Peter Pettigrew wandering the halls while he was still seemingly dead on the Marauder's Map. The reason for its naming is unknown.
Behind the scenes
- This room in shown in one of the Marauder's Map scenes of the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Probably, it was placed there as an inside joke by the filmmakers.
