Romanian socks were, presumably, socks made in or otherwise related to Romania. They were made of half wool with a leather heel. Gladrags Wizardwear sold this type of sock, offering them in black, brown, and grey. In an advertisement put out during the 1990s, they offered a buy one, get one half-price sale on Romanian socks.
