Roddy Pontner was a wizard who bet Ludo Bagman that the Bulgarian National Quidditch team would score the first goal at the Quidditch World Cup in 1994. Ludo gave him good odds because he was convinced that Ireland had the strongest Chasers. He lost this bet and owed Bagman.
