This spell was used by Cedric Diggory during the 1994 Triwizard Tournament. During the First Task, Cedric used this spell on a rock in the arena. The spell transfigured the rock into a Labrador. However, the dragon decided midway through attacking the dog, that he would rather have Cedric. Cedric was burned and was required to have Madam Pomfrey heal him.[1]
