"Harry could see, out of the corner of his eye, Scrimgeour squinting at him, so he pretended to be very interested in a gnome that had just poked its head out from underneath a frozen rhododendron."

Rhododendron is a genus of shrubs, with large and colourful flowers.[1]

The Weasley family kept rhododendrons in the yard of the The Burrow. On Christmas, 1996, these bushes were frozen and infested with gnomes.[2]
