Randolph Pauncefoot was a Quidditch fan who supported the Montrose Magpies. He did not have a problem with the team's Chaser, Alasdair Maddock, wanting to try out Muggle sports, but stated that a person must be a little crazy to play golf.^[1]

The name "Randolph" is from the Germanic elements rand meaning "rim (of a shield)" and wulf meaning "wolf".
