Robert Louis Balfour Stevenson (13 November, 1850 – 3 December, 1894) was a Scottish writer, who authored 13 novels, as well as some collections of poems, essays, and short stories. Stevenson was a literary celebrity during his lifetime.[1]
Albus Dumbledore kept a copy of Tales and Fantasies, a small collection of short stories by Robert Louis Stevenson, on his desk at the Headmaster's office at Hogwarts Castle.[2]
