The Quodpot solution is a potion essential to the Quodpot game, because it prevents the Quod from exploding. (It usually explodes after some time, forcing the player that is holding it to leave the field.) There is a small cauldron (the "pot") containing the solution in every Quodpot pitch, and goals are scored by placing the Quod inside the pot.
