This crate was used to store the Quaffle, Bludgers and Golden Snitch for Quidditch at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. When it is not in use, it is kept safely by Rolanda Hooch in her office. However, Dobby managed to gain access to it during the 1992–1993 school year, and, the following school year, by Marcus Flint and Peregrine Derrick, who hid it in the Clock Tower Courtyard and put a crate containing jinxed balls in its place.[1]
