A Pygmy Puff is a miniature Puffskein, sold in Fred and George Weasley's shop Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes at 93 Diagon Alley in London. They are sold from cages and come in various shades of pink and purple, in the girls section of the shop. They are also one of the four known products in the WonderWitch range. Ginny Weasley bought a purple Pygmy Puff named Arnold in 1996, which she frequently played with at Hogwarts.
Ginny once claimed that her brother Ron had a tattoo of a Pygmy Puff, but didn't say where, when Romilda Vane was pestering her about whether Harry Potter had a tattoo. After Ron heard this, he scowled while Hermione burst in laughter.
[edit] Characteristics
Pygmy Puffs are small puffskeins that come in shades of pink and purple. They resemble little fluffy balls that roll around and squeak in high voices. Luna Lovegood believed Pygmy Puffs sang on Boxing Day.[1]
