Pumpkin Pasties are a wizarding food sold on the Hogwarts Express food trolley.
History
Harry Potter tried them for the first time, on the Hogwarts Express, at the start of his first year. He bought some of everything off the food trolley, and then shared his food with Ron Weasley. In the film version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Cho Chang orders two from the food trolley .
Behind the scenes
- Pasties are a traditional baked meat and pastry pie. This indicates that Pumpkin Pasties are similar fare, using pumpkin as the filling instead of meat and vegetables. [1]
