Nymphadora Tonks: "I'm stationed in Hogsmeade now, to give the school extra protection."
Harry Potter: "Is it just you who's stationed up here, or —?"
Nymphadora Tonks: "No, Proudfoot, Savage, and Dawlish are here too."
Nymphadora Tonks and Harry Potter on 1 September, 1996.[src]

Proudfoot was a witch or wizard who worked for the Auror Office who was stationed in Hogsmeade along with Nymphadora Tonks, John Dawlish, and Savage to help heighten security at Hogwarts during the 1996–1997 school year.

Etymology

The name Proudfoot could possibly come from the Hobbit family of the same name in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. This is also very close to Sirius Black's nickname "Padfoot".
