The President of the Council of Magic is title of the head and highest-ranking member of a Council of Magic and, by extention, the leader of the magical community in a country that uses said government system.
The President of the Argentinian Council of Magic in 2014 was Valentina Vázquez.[1]
Behind the scenes
- The Argentinian Council of Magic is the first magical government in canon not to be referred to as a "Ministry of Magic". It is unknown precisely what distinguishes a Council of Magic from a Ministry of Magic, but it would seem that the former does not answer to the Muggle cabinet, while the latter does (to some degree, at least formally).
