The Potion-Mixing Room is a potions laboratory located in the Dungeons of Hogwarts Castle. It is used by advanced Potions students.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

• This room only appears on the GBC version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. On the following GBC instalment, it is replaced by Severus Snape's storeroom.
• It is possible, though it is never directly suggested in canon, that given the presence of the four alchemical elements (represented on the stone floor) — Fire, Earth, Air and Water — this room might be used for Alchemy lessons.
