This individual was a wizard whose portrait hung at Hogwarts Castle in the 1990s, near the first-floor landing of the Grand Staircase, next to a portrait of a girl with flowers and a portrait of Hengist Rawkes. He was depicted wearing red robes and a pointed hat, reading a book through a magnifying glass. He was polite, greeting the first year newcomers to the Castle in 1991.^[1]
