In addition to Muggle candies like peppermint humbugs, those in the wizarding world have sweets of their own to enjoy. These include:

• Fizzing Whizbees
• Jelly Slugs
• Liquorice Wands
• Sugar Quills

Some of these are available from the trolley on the Hogwarts Express; others may be obtained at Honeydukes, in Hogsmeade. Some are also featured during Hogwarts holiday feasts.

Whilst most of the sweets mentioned above are charmed to distinguish them in a magical but benign manner from ordinary Muggle sweets, some are jinxed or hexed. Apparently, the principal source of these is Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, a joke shop in Diagon Alley run by Fred and George Weasley. Their confectionary offerings include Canary Creams and Ton-Tongue Toffees, as well as the Skiving Snackbox, a collection of treats which may be self-administered to delay or avoid some unpleasant task, such as an examination.
