Behind the scenes

The Polish National Quidditch team is the national Quidditch team of Poland; they participated in the Quidditch World Cup[1]. Ladislaw Zamojski played for them at one point but had retired by the late 1990s; he was expected to return in the 2014 Quidditch World Cup[1]. The team also has Bonaventura Wójcik, who was once accused of being Luciano Volpi as its Seeker[1].In all likelihood, the White Eagles (nickname) are rivals with the German National Quidditch Team and wear the traditional red and white of the Nation's flag. The team probably plays in the same stadium as the Grodzisk Goblins as there is no known national stadium of the Polish team. Talisman Josef Wronski (pl. Józef Wroński), the inventor of the Wronski Feint, was expected to return for the 2014 Quidditch World Cup, however this was proved untrue.[3]

2014 Quidditch World Cup

In the 2014 Quidditch World Cup, the Polish team was defeated 140-350 by the Japanese National Quidditch Team on May 21st. Seeker Wladyslaw Wolfke was an intricate part of the team. He was described as a daring and graceful flier. The team bowed out of the World Cup despite spirited and dynamic play, however the team's youth and inexperience was evident.[3]
