A poisonous toadstool is a fungus not fit for consumption. In popular wizarding tale Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump by Beedle the Bard, Sabre, the largest of the hounds of the Brigade of Witch-Hunters, died of eating this fungus.[1]
